ATA Seeks Bids - "NEW 2005 GILLIG PHANTOM BUS REPAIR PARTS" Featured

Provide a "BID -  "NEW 2005 GILLIG PHANTOM BUS REPAIR PARTS" no later than Friday, March 8, 2024

From the "ATA 2005 GILLIG PHANTOM Bus REPAIR PARTS BID INSTRUCTION PAGE".

ATA is requesting proposals for the purchase of "new" 2005 Gillig Phantom Bus repair parts. The repair parts were pulled from fleet inventory from ATA's three (3) maintenance facilities and are attached and listed on ATA's "2024 ATA 2005 Gillig Phantom Bus Repair Parts Bid Form". The repair parts will be palletized, shrink-wrapped and can be viewed at ATA's Regional Maintenance Facility located at 44 Transportation Center, Johnsonburg, PA 15845.


Inspection of these Gillig Phantom Bus repair parts must be pre-arranged by contacting Charlie Shilk, Director of Fleet and Non-Stationary Equipment at (814) 594-3613. The prearranged date to inspect the parts at AT A's Regional Facility will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 am through 3:00 pm.


Bid offers must be placed in a sealed envelope marked "2024 ATA 2005 Gillig Phantom Bus Repair Parts Sale" with a return address on the upper left-hand corner of the envelope. A check issued to the Area Transportation Authority for full amount of the bid must accompany the required completed bid form. All parts must be removed from ATA premises no later than Friday, March 8, 2024. The best time to pick up the parts would be Tuesday through Friday 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Setting a date and time to pick up the parts must be pre-arranged with Charlie Shilk:


Offers may be mailed or hand delivered to the Area Transportation Authority, c/o Nick Werner, Director of Accounting, 44 Transportation Center, Johnsonburg, PA. 15845 but must be received on or before Monday, March 4, 2024, by 2:00pm regardless of the method used to deliver the bid. All offers received after the due date/time and/or not received as instructed will be returned. ATA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for reasons it deems are in its best interest. Checks issued by unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon execution of the disposition.
